Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client in the manufacturing industry, we are looking for competent, skilled and experienced Showroom Branch Manager to work in Uganda.
Job Purpose :
The Branch Manager will manage daily store operations, supervise staff, and ensure the branch meets sales and customer service objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of home appliances, experience in retail management, and the ability to train and develop their team. The role also involves inventory management, customer engagement, and maintaining showroom standards to enhance the shopping experience.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Sales & Customer Service Leadership.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed branch sales targets.
- Provide expert guidance to customers on appliance features, benefits, and usage.
- Train staff on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor and enhance customer service levels to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Staff Management & Training.
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate branch employees, including showroom attendants.
- Conduct regular staff training on new products, sales techniques, and service standards.
- Schedule and manage employee duties to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Store Operations & Inventory Management.
- Oversee stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing stock losses.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth product deliveries.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing showroom.
- Ensure adherence to merchandising and promotional display guidelines.
- Reporting & Business Growth.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit daily / weekly sales and performance reports to senior management.
- Implement strategies to attract and retain customers, including promotions and loyalty programs.
- Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and competitive trends.
- Compliance & Financial Oversight.
- Ensure the branch operates within budget and achieves profitability targets.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Monitor cash handling, invoicing, and POS system usage to prevent discrepancies.
Experience and Qualifications :
Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.5+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in electronics or home appliances.Strong knowledge of home appliances, including features, functionality, and usage.Proven ability to drive sales, manage inventory, and lead a team.Excellent customer service, sales, and negotiation skills.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in POS systems, sales reporting, and financial management.Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and adapt to market demands.How to apply :
