Description
Are you under 31 and eager to put your talent to work on an interesting project?
Then, the Junior Program is made for you! Organized by the Belgian development agency Enabel, it offers you the opportunity to work for one to two years on a development project. You will join an Enabel project or one of the 28 partner Belgian NGOs and actively contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Despite progress in primary education enrolment, Uganda still faces challenges in ensuring learner proficiency in literacy and numeracy. The project aims to support the Ministry of Education and local governments in improving literacy and numeracy for P3–P5 learners in government schools through UCatchUp, while strengthening systems to sustain and scale the model.
The JE will design and develop a UCatchUp CPD course for in-service teachers, supporting the scaling and sustainability of the program. They will collaborate with the key stakeholders to align the course with existing standards and assess the feasibility of blended delivery, ensuring compatibility with available infrastructure for teacher participation.
