Job Summary
The General Machine Operator is responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate various heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, etc.
- Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on machinery.
- Follow site plans and specifications to complete tasks.
- Communicate with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Identify and report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
