Overview :

Our business Partner in Uganda since 2016 is seeking 2 highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join the team in Kampala, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of commercial buildings in the area. This is a full-time position

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility and identify any potential challenges
• Develop detailed designs and plans for commercial buildings, including structural, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project plans are executed accurately and efficiently
• Manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Monitor and inspect construction progress to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications
• Prepare and submit progress reports to clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with local government agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and construction workers
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in building materials and techniques
• Ensure all projects are completed in accordance with company standards and procedures
