Reports To : Business Development Specialist
Position Overview :
The Business Development Executive (BDE) is a dynamic, results-driven professional responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth for a Human Resource Management firm. This role demands strong communication and analytical skills, a comprehensive understanding of HR services, and a proven ability to drive strategic growth across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead Generation & Prospecting :
- Identify potential clients and industries that could benefit from the firm’s HR services, including recruitment, talent management, employee benefits, payroll, and training
- Conduct market research to discover new business opportunities and trends in HR
- Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, email campaigns, and leveraging social media platforms like LinkedIn and work closely with the Growth Managers for alignment and
Client Relationship Management :
Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existingAct as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, responding to inquiries, understanding their HR needs, and presenting customizedManage the sales process from initial inquiry to contract signing, ensuring a smooth transition between business development and client servicingSales and Proposal Management :
Create compelling and customized proposals, presentations, and value propositions based on client needs for Growth andNegotiate contracts and service agreements with prospective clients, ensuring all terms are mutuallyWork with internal teams to prepare quotes, service level agreements (SLAs), and other contractualBusiness Strategy & Reporting :
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to refine the firm’s business development strategy, identifying target markets and potentialTrack and report sales activity, pipeline status, and revenue projections toAnalyze competitors’ offerings and provide recommendations for improving the firm’s business developmentMonitor client satisfaction and engage in post-sales relationship management to foster repeat business andCollaboration with Internal Teams :
Work closely with the HR consulting and operations teams to ensure a seamless delivery of HR services toCommunicate client feedback and requirements to relevant departments to ensure services are tailored and deliveredCollaborate with the marketing team to align business development initiatives with current campaigns and digital marketingAchieving business Targets :
Maintain a strong accurate sales pipeline and actively work to convert leads into closedContinuously seek opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional HR services to existingClient Retention and Satisfaction :
Ensure that all clients’ needs are addressed proactively, ensuring high levels ofConduct regular follow-up meetings with clients to ensure ongoing business and serviceAddress client concerns promptly and work towards resolving any issues that arise during the course of the businessAcademic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or Marketing or related fieldMinimum of 3 years’ experience working with or supporting research teams, recruitment analytics, or collaboration with research / staffing firms is a strongKey Skills :
