Sokoni Africa Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Japanese Restaurant Supervisor to lead our team at our exquisite Japanese dining establishment. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and promoting an authentic Japanese culinary experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service are met
- Supervise, train, and develop restaurant staff to enhance their skills and performance
- Build a rapport with guests and manage customer feedback effectively
- Assist in creating and implementing menu changes and promotions
- Monitor inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels to meet customer demand
- Prepare reports on restaurant performance, guest satisfaction, and staff efficiency
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant supervision, preferably in a Japanese cuisine environmentDegree in Hospitality Management or related field is an advantageProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a teamExceptional customer service and communication skillsFamiliarity with Japanese cuisine, dining customs, and cultureAbility to thrive in a busy environment and manage multiple tasksFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
