Production Officer-Blow Molding

Position: Production Officer – Blow Molding

Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Plastics Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Blow Molding operations.

Location: MIUL – Uganda.

Job Description:

• Supervise daily Blow Molding production operations and achieve production targets.
• Plan and monitor machine operators and shift activities.
• Perform machine setup, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Carry out mold changeovers and process parameter adjustments.
• Ensure product quality and compliance with ISO/HSE standards.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance of machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain production reports, downtime analysis, and ERP/SAP entries.
• Monitor OEE, KPIs, rejection rates, and implement improvements.
• Participate in RCA, CAPA, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, QA, Tool Room, and planning teams for smooth production.
