Position :- Project Engineer- Constructions

Job Location:- Uganda

Job Description: -

• Project Scheduling: Set project timelines, create milestones, and plan each phase of construction.

• Schedule Tracking: Prepare and update project schedules while monitoring daily progress

• QC Inspections: Monitor construction activities and inspect the quality of foundation work. Ensure concrete, steel, cement, sand, and other materials meet project specifications.

• Vendor Management: Collect and evaluate subcontractor bids, review material costs, coordinate equipment deliveries, and resolve day-to-day vendor issues.

• Cost & Budget Support: Prepare initial cost estimates and track project expenses. Assist with subcontractor invoice verification and pricing of change orders.

• Billing & Quantity Surveying: Measure site work, , and process subcontractor and client invoices.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure site operations comply with local building codes, design specifications, and safety regulations.
• Problem Solving: Handle site-level delays, emergencies, technical issues, and design changes effectively.

Desired Candidate:-

• Education Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as Project Engineer in Commercial and industrial project

• Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD.
