Business Analyst.

Role Outline

• Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to warehouse and transportation operations, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and workflows within the warehouse & transport logistics domain.
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
• Work closely with IT team to assess, recommend, and implement technology solutions that align with business objectives.
• Utilize historical data and industry trends to develop accurate demand forecasts for warehouse and transportation services.
• Provide actionable insights to management for data-driven decision-making.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for system enhancements or new technological implementations.
• Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of warehouse and transport operations
• Provision of solutions / analytical support in the pursuit of new business/ renewal of existing customer business
• Provision of solutions / analytical support for implementation / re-engineering needs for key/ strategic projects as assigned.
• To establish optimal costing / commercialization for New / Existing business.
• Engage and work closely with operations team on implementation of assigned projects.
• Engage and work closely with BD and sector team on proposing solution design needs.
• Championed assigned practice / solution subject matter expertise- build depths via research and application, training, engagement on relevant projects.
• Outline solutions and commercial proposals in appropriate formats for presentation to internal / customers. Participating in customer presentations were required.
• Develop and maintain good and effective communication across the business.
• Actively seek to understand and apply innovation be it facility, fleet, technology or safety to solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Familiarity with Warehouse & Transport management systems and logistics software
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms.
• Experience in CLASS/Auto Card and technical aptitude for new business developments
• IT literate (Advanced Microsoft office/Power BI)
• Ability to understand a strategic perspective and translate into work plan
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of wall-to-wall standard operating procedures and EWM system functionality
• Proven ability to translate user requirements into practical and feasible solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferably Plant, electrical or mechanical
• Proven experience (3 years) in business analysis, preferably within the warehouse or transport
• logistics industry."
• Master’s degree is a plus
• Logistics experience will be added advantage
