Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Teaching qualification with significant primary teaching experience
  • Minimum 5 years pastoral care or student welfare experience in primary education
  • Specialized training in child protection and safeguarding
  • Previous leadership experience in educational settings
  • Essential Skills

  • Leadership Excellence : Strong leadership and team management abilities to guide pastoral care initiatives
  • Communication Mastery : Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, parents, and staff
  • Cultural Competency : Cultural sensitivity and awareness essential for international school environments
  • Crisis Management : Proven crisis management and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Data Proficiency : Data analysis skills and experience with information management systems
  • Curriculum Knowledge : Comprehensive understanding of Cambridge Primary curriculum and international education standards
  • Safeguarding Expertise : Deep knowledge of child protection policies and safeguarding best practices
  • Key Responsibilities Include :

  • Developing comprehensive pastoral care strategies for primary learners aged 5-11
  • Leading positive behavior management systems and student welfare initiatives
  • Building strong partnerships with parents and coordinating community engagement
  • Providing professional development and coaching for staff in pastoral care practices
  • Implementing health education and well-being programs aligned with Cambridge curriculum standards
