Job description

This is a great opportunity to grow in a leading liquor distribution company that is part of a diverse group of companies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute sales strategies
  • Manage sales teams and distributors to meet volume and revenue targets
  • Drive growth in on-trade, off-trade, and modern trade channels
  • Oversee pricing, promotions, and trade execution
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Ensure compliance with alcohol sales laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams
  • Report on sales performance and adjust plans accordingly

Job Experience and Skills Required :

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
  • 7+ years in sales, including 3+ years in a leadership role in FMCG or alcoholic beverages
  • Experience in the Uganda market
  • Strong distributor and key account management experience
  • Data-driven, with strong leadership and communication skills
  • Willing to travel extensively
