Reports to : Marketing Manager.
Supervises : Marketing Executives; Sales Representatives
Overview of Job Purpose
- Grow, build and protect the Hass Petroleum brand portfolio by implementing the quarterly and annual marketing plans, to achieve budgeted volume, market share and profit objectives. The incumbent is expected to efficiently and effectively implement Lubes marketing activities to achieve set volume and profitability targets for the business unit
Responsibilities
Key Responsibility Area
Implement Business Unit Lubes marketing strategy in line with the group wide strategyProspecting for new customers in line with the business strategy of growth in customer baseOversee achievement of Lubes volumetric objectives and ensures resources are allocated to achieve objectivesMonitoring and analysis of Lubes sales volumes, market share trends and competitor activityPlans and organizes promotions and presentations to prospective customers.Maintain and manage customer relationships by offering consistent and prompt supportGathers and analyzes market research data to enhance business and brand growthSecure profitable accounts in industrial, commercial and institutions.Tracks product line sales and costs by analyzing sales, expenses and margins.Ensure speedy customer complaints handling, feedback and follow upFollow through on customer order processing and ensure customer service levels are within set SLAsPrepare and maintain updated customer database and provide requisite reportsMonitor stock levels of products and ensure product availabilityCompetitor benchmarking and come up with appropriate interventionsEnsures development and monitoring of individual MEs sales targetsTrack Inventory in key customer sites, placing orders and verifying receipt.Supports Marketing activities by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analysis, new product information, and relaying customer services requestsRequired Qualifications :
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a business-related degreeProfessional qualification in Marketing e.g. CIMRequired Experience
A Minimum of 4 years’ marketing experience preferably in automotive and industrial, automotive aftermarket, OEM worshops, construction and mining equipment or in fleetRequired Skills
