JOIN OUR TEAM We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Asset Risk Emergency Officers to join our Team POSITION SUMMARY JOB TITTLE; ASSET RISK EMERGENCY OFFICERS DEPARTMENT; ASSET RISK REPORTS TO; SENIOR ASSET RISK & EMEREGENCY MANAGER DUTY STATION; FIELD BASED Role Summary; The Recovery Emergency Officer oversees field operations to curb theft cases, reduce the number of incoming new theft cases, mostly at night in defined territories across Kampala, and conduct post-theft investigations and recoveries.

This includes achieving set targets and consistently enhancing the recovery rate and Departmental objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities; Acts as the recovery responder in emergencies to ensure the retrieval of a stolen asset anytime of the day Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including the legal team and law enforcement, to facilitate asset recovery initiatives.

Manage and maintain accurate records of asset recovery efforts, including documentation of legal proceedings and financial transactions involved in field ops and gang elimination.

Analyse data and trends, especially from GPS on asset loss, and recommend solutions and future mitigating measures Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, route controllers, the boda boda community, and partners, to support asset recovery initiatives Post theft investigation, suspect apprehension, and case packaging for cases deemed lost Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure proactive risk management is done through field ops assessment of various risks associated with trends of theft cases, and advise appropriately Conduct regular gang elimination in hotspots by doing investigations and gathering evidence with the police and other stakeholders (Informers) Perform any other duties assigned as the need may arise MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS   The ideal candidate MUST be a trained security guard with at least a Diploma or UCE.

Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Must have the physical ability to ride and respond to emergencies at any time of the day Must have a certificate of good conduct.

Must have good negotiation skills.

Must have a well-developed computer skills, including proven ability to use google sheets and company systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong initiative, able to multi-task, team player, and positive attitude with high integrity skills Skill, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of work experience as a security guard or relevant position Ability to conduct Investigations and attending to emergencies at any time of the day Ability to ride a Motorcycle with a Valid Riding permit class A Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures / protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Surveillance skills and detail-oriented Must be able to express himself fluently in English, Luganda or any other languages Note This position is open to male candidates only.
