Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips more than 4 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa’s farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase her income and assets on supported land by more than 40 percent, while permanently improving her climate resilience. This is all made possible by our team of 8,000+ full-time staff, drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions.
About the Role
We seek an independent, well-rounded, and proactive problem solver with 1+ years of relevant experience in end-user support, endpoint hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. You will collaborate with the Endpoint Management, Networks, and Service Desk teams to support staff at our Mubende office. You will be part of the IT Operations team and will report to the Growth Countries IT Operations Lead.
Responsibilities
- You will adhere to IT policies, processes, and guidelines
- You will resolve technical incidents and service requests within service level agreements.
- You will comply to endpoints and network processes
- You will execute IT support exercises (ex : preventative maintenance, inventory data cleanup etc.)
- You will engage with non-technical OAF team members to conduct IT-related training.
- You will engage with external providers like internet providers and IT vendors.
- You will initiate and participate in IT improvement projects.
