About the Role

Seeking a dynamic Product Development Merchandiser to manage fabric sourcing, apparel development, and vendor coordination from concept to final sample. The role bridges design, sourcing, and production to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality product execution.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end product development and sampling.

Collaborate with design teams on fabric, color, and material choices.

Source fabrics, trims, and accessories as per requirements.

Liaise with mills / vendors for timely sample delivery.

Manage costing, T&A tracking, and buyer communications.

Ensure quality, compliance, and smooth handover to production.

Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Textile, Apparel, or Fashion Merchandising.

3 - 7 years experience in fabric / apparel product development.

Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and sourcing.

Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

Proficient in MS Office, ERP / SAP preferred.
